Burger Bowl
Posted 5th May 2026
A lighter, high-protein twist on a classic burger. This bowl combines crispy seasoned potatoes, lean beef mince, melted cheese, and fresh salad, all topped with a tangy, creamy burger sauce. Served with a refreshing Hydraglow drink on the side, it’s a balanced, satisfying meal without the bun.
Serves 1
Ingredients
- 150g lower-carb potatoes (Spud Lite), cubed
- All-purpose seasoning
- Olive oil spray
- 150g extra lean beef mince
- ¼ tsp paprika
- ¼ tsp onion powder
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- 15g grated tasty cheese
- 1–2 cups shredded lettuce
- 1 tomato, diced
- 2 cucumber pickles, sliced
- 1 sachet Berry Frost Hydraglow
- Burger Sauce
- 1 tbsp Greek yoghurt
- 1 tsp tomato sauce
- 1 tsp sweet pickle sauce
- ½ tsp Dijon mustard
- Garlic powder + paprika (to taste)
- To serve:
- Sesame seeds (optional)
Method
-
Add the potatoes to an air fryer basket. Spray with olive oil, season, and toss to coat. Air fry at 180°C for 8–10 minutes, or until golden and tender.
-
Heat a small non-stick pan over medium heat. Add the beef mince, breaking it up with a spatula. Add paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder, and cook gently for 8–10 minutes, or until browned and cooked through. Remove from heat, sprinkle over the grated cheese, and cover to melt.
-
In a small bowl, whisk together all burger sauce ingredients and set aside.
-
Assemble your bowl with a base of lettuce, then add the potatoes, beef mince, tomato, and pickles. Drizzle over the burger sauce and garnish with sesame seeds if desired.
-
Dissolve the Berry Frost Hydraglow powder in a glass of chilled water and serve alongside.
