Ingredients

  • 3 whole strawberries, diced
  • 3/4 cup strawberries, finely diced
  • 2 ½ tbsp granulated sweetener
  • Squeeze of lemon juice
  • 1 cups unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 sachet Unflavoured Premium Collagen Peptides

Method

  1. Place the 3 diced strawberries in a bowl with 1 tbsp of sugar and stir to macerate (draw out the juices). Let it sit aside.
  2. Add the 3/4 cups of diced strawberries to a small saucepan with 1 ½ tbsp of sugar and 1/2 tsp of lemon juice. Bring to a boil, then reduce to just above a simmer for 10 minutes, stirring frequently until broken down and syrupy.
  3. Refrigerate the syrup until cold.
  4. In a glass, add the syrup, ice, milk, unflavoured collagen and about 1 tbsp of the macerated strawberries. Stir to combine. Enjoy!
